Water-based, low-solvent, non-yellowing.

Semi-transparent levelling compound for applying LEINOS levelling/spatula technique in conjunction with Pigment Concentrates 668 for exclusive wall design.

Application range: 

For exclusive, diffusion-open wall design in living areas.

Technical qualities: 

Almost colourless, transparent  scumble filler after drying. Water vapour permeable. Can be coloured with LEINOS Pigment Concentrates. LEINOS Pearlescent Pigments 668 are not suitable for colouring the Scumble Filler 630.

Colour: 

Almost colourless after drying without tinting.

Full declaration: 

Water, shellac soap, natural resin soap, carnauba wax, beeswax, methyl cellulose, talcum, calcium carbonate, alumina, benzisothiazolinone. The VOC content of this product is max. 1 g/l. The EU limit value is max. 30 g/l (category A from 2010).

Preparation: 

To achieve optimum results, please observe the technical data sheets of all products used. The substrate must be chemically neutral, solid, dry, clean, free from grease and dust, and free from penetrating ingredients. Depending on the desired result first smooth the walls with LEINOS Smoothing and Textured Filler 685 and then sand completely smooth with 280 grit sandpaper or pre-coat with natural resin dispersion paint 660 to obtain a finely textured substrate. Mix the scumble filler 630 with approx.10% LEINOS Pigment Concentrate 668. To achieve pastel shades, use half LEINOS Pigment Concentrate White 668.331.

Application: 
With Japan spatulas or similar suitable spatulas. Room and surface temperature above 15°C.
 
A. Filling:
Apply the coloured scumble filler 630 thinly with a Japan spatula or similar using the desired technique. At least at least 2, preferably 3 coats. This can be done in the same or different colour shades. The previous coat must be dry beforehand.
 
B. Finishing:
After drying, the coloured wall can be polished with a lambskin disc to a fine silky sheen.
Additional protection of the surface by using LEINOS Wall Wax Finish 350. Transparency and colour depth are significantly increased by the waxing process
 
C. Tip:

LEINOS recommends trying out the filler on a coated chipboard first in order to assess the choice of colour and technique.

Drying time: 

Can be levelled over after 2 - 3 hours, polishable after approx. 24 hours.

Container sizes and coverage: 

Between 30 and 70 g/m2 per coat depending on the type of design and application method.

Storage: 

Stable for approx. 12 months when originally sealed. Store in a cool, dry and closed place. Protect from frost!

Disposal: 

In accordance with local, official regulations. Dried product residues can be disposed of with household waste. Waste code EWC 08 01 12.

Cleaning: 

Water and LEINOS Vegetable Soap 930. Product is ready to use.

Hazard statements: 

Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one. May produce an allergic reaction. Safety data sheet available on request.
