Clear primer for surfaces exposed to wear and tear indoors.
Low degree of yellowing.

For all interior wooden surfaces that are not subject to heavy wear, especially for demanding furniture construction. Also suitable for cork and stoneware.

Application range: 

Impregnation of all absorbent interior surfaces like wood, cork and unglazed clay tiles. Suitable especially for areas exposed to wear and tear (floors, doors, countertops etc.) The wear resistance of the surface can be enhanced by a finish with Hard Oil special 245.

Technical qualities: 

Quick and easy to apply. Water repellent, open-pored impregnation, water vapour permeable. Low degree of yellowing. Not suitable for wet areas and outdoor surfaces.

Colour: 

Transparent, colourless to slightly yellow. Light absorbent surfaces will dry slightly darker.

Full declaration: 
Safflower-stand oil, safflower oil, natural resin-ester, isoparaffins, drying agents. The product contains max 460 g/l VOC. EU limit value for this product (cat. f): 700 g/l (2010).
Application: 

Apply at least 2 coats by brush, roller, dipping or spraying at temperatures  above 15 °C. The product can also be applied by the so called wet-in wet application technique: the second coat can be applied after 20-30 minutes. Important note: Remove the supernatants carefully after 30 minutes, independently after the last coating.

Drying time: 

At 20°C and  50 - 55% relative humidity: Dust dry after approx. 8 hours. Ready to walk over and for after treatment after approx. 16 - 20 hours. This system needs sufficient quantities of atmospheric oxygen for drying. Provide adequate ventilation for interior application, in case of low air convection use a ventilator in order to prevent a lingering odour of plant oils.

Container sizes and coverage: 

Approx. 50 - 70 ml/m2, depending upon the condition and absorbency of the surface.

Storage: 

Under cool and dry conditions. Close lid tightly when not in use. Skim off film before use. Shelf-life of unopened container 2 years.

Disposal: 

According to locally regulated laws. European Waste Catalogue (EWC) 08 01 02

Cleaning: 

LEINOS Thinner 200. Clean equipments immediately after use.

Hazard statements:

Precautionary statements: 

Keep out of reach of children. IF SWALLOWED: Call a POISON CENTER/doctor if you feel unwell. Do NOT induce vomiting. Avoid release to the environment. Dispose of contents/container according to local regulations. Always be sure to store cleaning cloth, polishing pads, sponges, etc. that are still wet or even slightly moist with product in an airtight metal container or in water and dispose, as there is a danger of spontaneous combustion caused by the plant oil content in the product. The product alone will not undergo spontaneous combustion. A typical smell may arise due to the natural raw materials. During sanding wear mask against respirable dust.
