Silicate façade paint for the rational mineralisation of resin-coated facade surfaces and ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite System).
Universally applicable for the renovation of synthetic resin-bonded facade surfaces, old, firmly adhering dispersion old coats and synthetic resin plasters.
Highly opaque, matt, highest colour fastness A1 (BFS data sheet no. 26), strong adhesion to mineral and synthetic resin substrates, permeable to water vapour and CO2, non-flammable, pH value 11, preventive against mould and algae attack.
Natural white, old white, and further 200 mixed colour shades. Due to the heating effect on ETICS facades, use only light colours. (HBW > 40) Can be tinted to pastel colours with alkali-resistant tinting pastes.
Pure mineral water glass, alkali-resistant, lightfast, mineral pigments, organic additives, film protection. VOC content 10 g/l. EU limit max. 30 g/l (category „a“ as of 2010).
All surfaces must be properly prepared according to VOB Part C DIN 18363 or the BFS bulletins. Holes and break-outs must be repaired with a suitable material and must be completely dry before further processing. Unsafe substrates must be assessed individually and test areas must be prepared before coating. Unsuitable substrates: Wood and wood-based materials, clay, gypsum, plastics, substrates on which water cannot drain and dry off well, surfaces exposed to salt, generally non-bearing substrates, as well as glossy and plasto-elastic substrates.
Add water to adjust the coating to the application and substrate as required. Adjust the priming coat with approx. 10% water, the finishing coat after 12 hours with approx. 5% water. LEINOS UniverSil-Facade Paint fine is applied in at least 2 coats. On facade surfaces with increased weather exposure, a further coat is recommended. The paint is applied with a brush, roller or airless device. For connected surfaces, the paint must be applied in thin layers, without overlaps and evenly in a cross coat.
Per coat at least 12 hours, do not apply below + 8°C. Do not apply LEINOS UniverSil Facade Paint in direct sunlight or on heated substrates. Protect fresh coats from rain.
Average coverage approx. 130 l/m2 on smooth, normally absorbent substrates.

Stable for at least 12 months when originally sealed. Store closed container in a cool and dry place. Protect from frost. Opened containers and diluted preparation cannot be stored.
Dilute the coating with water. Clean tools, substrates and soiled clothing immediately and thoroughly with water.
Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one; 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one; 2-octyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one; [OIT], reaction mass of 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1). May produce an allergic reaction. Safety data sheet available on request. Warning! Hazardous respirable droplets may be formed when sprayed. Do not breathe spray or mist.
