Teak Oil is a high quality product based on vegetable oils and resins for all types of exterior wood such as fences, pergola, play ground timber, wooden terraces and decks, teak furniture and garden furniture. Suitable especially for tropical woods such as bangkirai and teak.
Quick and easy to apply. High-quality vegetable oils impregnate new woods and refreshes old ones. The vegetable oils maintain the wood sound and elastic and prevent desiccation. Best refreshing for oiled timber. No sanding required for further coatings. Good refreshing of old coatings. Saliva- and perspiration resistant according to DIN 53160.
Transparent, colourless to slightly yellow. Light and absorbent surfaces will dry slightly darker. Woodwork will react differently in colour according to the nature of the wood and the structure of the wood grain.
Linseed oil, castor oil, wood oil, isoparaffins, iodo-propynyl-butylcarbamate, drying agents. Product contains max 420 g/l VOC. EU limit value for this product (cat. f): 700 g/l (2010).
Stir well before use. Apply by brush thinly and evenly. Avoid ponding. Ambient- and surface temperature must be higher than +10°C.
Approx. 16 - 24 hours. It is essential to provide adequate ventilation during the drying process!
Approx. 50 - 70 ml/m2 per coat depending on the absorbency of the surface.

Originally sealed at least 5 years stable. Store dry, cool and sealed.

Always be sure to store cleaning cloth, polishing pads, sponges, etc. that are still wet or even slightly moist with product in an airtight metal container or in water and dispose, as there is a danger of spontaneous combustion caused by the plant oil content in the product.
The product alone will not undergo spontaneous combustion.
A typical smell may arise due to the natural raw materials.
During sanding wear mask against respirable dust.
